Asia has long been the centre for apparel manufacturing while Europe still remains the heart of fashion and design. ASIA APPAREL EXPO - BERLIN will bring 150 carefully-selected and experienced Asian manufacturers to the doorstep of fashion and design in Berlin, from February 21-23, 2012. These suppliers are based in some of the world’s largest clothing producing countries: China, India, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

Over the past 25 years, Asian countries have developed a highly competent and versatile mass market manufacturing base. Today, six Asian countries account for 80% of Asia's apparel exports to Europe, America and Japan (China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India).

Exhibits will include Mens, Womens and Childrens wear, Sports Wear, Lingerie & Swimwear, Denim Wear and Industrial Wear plus Fabrics, Embellishments, Laces, Trims, Buttons, Zips, Labels and other apparel accessories.

ASIA APPAREL EXPO - BERLIN will offer Brand Manufacturers, Trading Companies, Wholesalers, Multiple Retailers, Chain Stores, Department Agents, Designers, Private Label and Buying Offices a new ASIAN SOURCING MARKET PLACE, right in the heart of Europe in BERLIN. Berlin has re-established itself as one of Europe’s key trading, fashion and business meeting capitals. Centrally located, with easy access from both Western and Eastern Europe, Berlin has over 580 hotels providing 45,000 rooms, providing both buyers and exhibitions with value accommodation with a wide variety of accommodation costs.

Kenfair are confident that ASIA APPAREL EXPO has the potential to grow into an important annual sourcing date in Berlin for the apparel business by putting Asian suppliers in direct contact with European brands.
